CIA held a high power launch at the Flessner farm near Flatville, Illinois on March 11, 2007. Although the field was muddy, the weather was almost perfect, with temperatures in the 60s, clear skies and almost no wind. One of the plans for the day was to produce a short video documenting the preparation and flight of a large model rocket, for use in future CIA educational presentations. That was completed successfully, and we also made several other excellent large rocket flights.
