CIA Launch at Dodds Park 7/23/11

  • This is flight data from my Wildman Jr. flight on 7/23/11. The motor was an H669N-P, and recovery was by dual deployment using a Raven altimeter. The apogee ejection charge did not open the rocket, so the descent was quite fast (whistling fast) until the main 'chute opened. The motor burned for 0.3 seconds, and in that time, the rocket reached 194 mph, and about 60 ft of altitude. Mark Joseph image.
